Sigma Molders 2020 Inc., Receivership

Sigma Molders 2020 Inc., a Scarborough, Ontario-based plastic injection moulding company, was placed into receivership on August 15 on application by TD Bank, owed approximately $0.74 million.
TD Bank initially advanced a loan to the company in 2020. By May 2025, Sigma had defaulted on the loan and TD Bank demanded repayment.
Between late-May to late-July 2025, the company operated on a scaled down basis for the purpose of fulfilling certain final customer orders and facilitating the return of third-party property. It has now ceased operations.
Albert Gelman is the receiver.
Counsel is Spetter Zeitz Klaiman for TD Bank and Aird & Berlis for the receiver.
