Motryx Inc. - Sale Process

On September 27, 2024, Motryx Inc. (“Motryx” or the “Company”) filed a notice of intention to make a proposal (“NOI”) pursuant to the provisions of the Bankruptcy and Insolvency Act with the Office of the Superintendent of Bankruptcy.  BDO Canada Limited (“BDO” or the “Proposal Trustee”) consented to act as the designated Trustee for the estate. Motryx is a healthcare logistics innovator specializing in the transport and handling of medical samples and diagnostics. The Company's proprietary technology enhances efficiency, security, and traceability, addressing critical challenges in healthcare logistics. On December 20, 2024, the Supreme Court of Nova Scotia approved a Sale and Investment Solicitation Process (the “Sale Process”), permitting the Proposal Trustee to solicit interest in the sale of all or substantially all of the Company’s assets, primarily being proprietary intellectual property, including patents and proprietary technologies. Interested parties will be required to sign an NDA prior to receiving certain due diligence materials and prior to being granted access to a virtual data room. The deadline for interested parties to submit bids in response to the Sale Process is 5:00pm (Halifax Time) on February 7, 2025. Copies of the Sale Process Order and other documents related to the NOI proceedings may be obtained from the Proposal Trustee’s website.
