Montréal it's electric, a Montreal, Quebec-based non-profit organization that promotes transport electrification and implementation in Montreal, filed for bankruptcy on February 5, listing $18.2MM in liabilities, including $9.8MM to Formula E Operations. Montreal cancelled the controversial Formula E electric car race, which was backed by the company, when it learned taxpayers would be paying almost $35.0MM to fund the race. PwC is the bankruptcy trustee.
