Mastermind Toys blames Competition Bureau for impeding sale and forcing bankruptcy proceedings

Denes Rothschild of BLG looks at the CCAA filing of Mastermind Toys and the role the Competition Bureau played in the company’s insolvency, concluding that even compelling evidence that a continued review by the Bureau will lead to a CCAA is far from a guarantee that the Bureau will back off.
