As a Manager - Restructuring and Insolvency at RCGT, you will showcase your expertise in financial accounting by understanding the client’s business and industry. You will plan, prepare, and submit mandates and service contract projects for approval. You will manage and execute mandates and projects according to budgets and timelines. You will identify issues and recommend solutions. You will organize your priorities and work on multiple clients simultaneously. You will apply ethical rules as well as the firm’s quality standards. You will manage mandate-related risks and legal considerations. You will act as a resource person in your area of expertise for less experienced colleagues. You will supervise and review the work of team members assigned to your mandates. You will contribute to evaluating the performance of employees under your supervision. You will develop and maintain a network of contacts, both internally and externally. You will monitor the market.

Bachelor’s degree in accounting or another relevant field;
CPA designation or other relevant professional title;
At least 3 years of experience in auditing or other relevant experience;
Enrolled in the CAIRP training program leading to the CIRP designation and trustee license (an asset);
Good knowledge of business restructuring and insolvency laws and principles;
Strong technical skills with Microsoft Office Suite;
Proficiency in French, both spoken and written;
Proficiency in English, both spoken and written. This position is for our Ottawa (Ontario) office, and our clientele is 70% monolingual anglophone;
Ability to handle multiple mandates and projects;
Ability to build trust with clients and strong business development skills;
Ability to supervise and delegate.
