KPMG Inc. (“KPMG”), in its capacity as Monitor in the CCAA proceedings of Freedom Cannabis Inc. (“Freedom”) is soliciting interest for the sale and / or investment in Freedom’s property, assets and undertakings and / or its business. Freedom, based in Acheson, Alberta, produces 1,900 kg of indoor GACP flower annually. Its operations also include packaging, processing, vape filling, pre-roll manufacturing, and a 51% stake in CTS, which makes butane hydrocarbon extraction products. On February 26, 2025, the Court of King’s Bench of Alberta granted an order approving, among other things, the SISP and a stalking horse share subscription agreement dated February 17, 2025 among Freedom and 2644323 Alberta Ltd. for purposes of serving as the stalking horse bidder in the context of the SISP.
Interested parties who wish to submit a bid in the SISP must submit an offer to the Monitor by no later than 3.00pm (MST) on Wednesday April 9, 2025. Any parties interested in participating in the SISP should contact the Monitor to receive additional information at [email protected].
