AlixPartners Restructuring, Inc., the Court-appointed Receiver of TRS Components Ltd. (“TRS”), 976711 Ontario Inc. o/a Terra Nova Truss (“TNT”) and Plant 22 Ltd. (“Plant 22”, and together with TRS and TNT, the “Companies”), is soliciting offers for the going-concern purchase of the Companies’ business and assets, together with the associated industrial real property located at 16783 Thorndale Road, Thorndale, Ontario (the “Thorndale Property”), pursuant to a Court-approved stalking horse sale process (the “Sale Process”).

BUSINESS OVERVIEW

  • TRS (Thorndale, ON) manufactures and distributes engineered construction components (trusses, wall panels, floor systems and lumber packages).

  • TNT (Brockville/Kingston, ON) designs and manufactures pre-engineered trusses.

  • Combined workforce of approximately 120 employees; non-unionized.

  • Established customer base of general contractors, builders and developers across Ontario.

REAL PROPERTY

  • Manufacturing and office facility situated on approximately 9.1 acres at the southwest

    corner of Thorndale Road and Nissouri Road in Thorndale, Ontario.

  • Owned by Plant 22 and available for purchase together with the operating business.

THE OPPORTUNITY

  • The Sale Process is intended to solicit offers for substantially all of the Companies’

    business and assets, including the real property owned by Plant 22.

  • Preference will be given to “en bloc” offers; however, bids for portions of the Companies’

    business are permitted provided the combined purchase price of such bids is greater

    than the stalking horse purchase price.

  • The bid deadline is 5PM (Toronto time) on August 31, 2026.
