Entity behind Dasha restaurant assigns into bankruptcy
Goldhar & Associates takes control of the estate following the November 27 filing, bringing an end to the corporation’s run of operating the Dasha restaurant and bar at 620 King Street West.

The General Partnership Inc. filed an assignment in bankruptcy on November 27, 2025, with Goldhar & Associates Ltd. appointed as trustee of the estate. The filing marks the formal collapse of a hospitality venture that previously operated the Dasha restaurant and bar, along with the associated entity 2582201 Ontario Inc., from a large unit at 620 King Street West in Toronto. The property sat within one of the city’s busiest entertainment corridors, and the business had built its identity around a destination style dining and social experience.
The company had held the lease for a sizable multilevel venue that combined a restaurant, cocktail bar, and private event spaces. It had been branded as Dasha, a concept known for theatrical interiors and karaoke lounges that attracted nightlife traffic on the King West strip. The operation provided both full service dining and entertainment amenities before shifting toward private events.
Financial pressures mounted as the business model moved away from day-to-day food service, and operational strain appears to have intensified while the corporation explored a transition to a pure event venue. The pivot did not stabilize results, and the company ultimately discontinued regular restaurant service.
The company entered bankruptcy with minimal assets. Its Statement of Affairs lists only $100 in cash on hand and $1,554.96 in accounts receivable, with no value attributed to furniture, equipment, inventory, or leasehold improvements. Total realizable assets amount to $1,654.96. Liabilities of $1,178,985.38 (owed to a long roster of former employees, landlords, service providers, and trade creditors) dwarf these figures.
