BRR Logistics Limited, NOI

BRR Logistics Limited, a Brampton, Ontario-based company which operates a frozen foods sale and logistics business, filed an NOI on January 31.

The company’s customers include manufacturers, grocers, and brokers. Prior to its financial difficulties, the company had thousands of retail customers and operated in all provinces and territories in Canada, with the majority of its business conducted in Ontario.

The company has suffered from severe financial challenges in the last several months due to, among other things, significant changes in the grocery industry and the consequent pressures on the grocery supply chain, departures of large customers and key employees, as well as a dispute with Walmart, previously a large customer of the company, over an allegedly unpaid receivable of approximately $1.8 million.

BDO is the proposal trustee.
