Atlas Biotechnologies Inc. and Atlas Growers Ltd., receivership

Atlas Biotechnologies Inc. and Atlas Growers Ltd., Edmonton, Alberta-based companies which produce medical cannabis products for the healthcare sector, were placed in receivership on June 28, on application by Agricultural Financial Services Corporation (“AFSC”), owed approximately $8.5 million. EY was appointed Receiver, represented by Duncan Craig. Dentons is counsel for AFSC and Osler is counsel for the companies.
