Annie Yeretsian, Terry Wilson, 2457674 Ontario, 2399029 Ontario and Moss Developments

Properties belonging to Annie Yeretsian, Terry Wilson, 2457674 Ontario, 2399029 Ontario and Moss Developments (the "Debtors") were placed in receivership on February 28 on application by Comfort Capital et al., secured lenders to the Debtors in five separate loans. Most of the applicants' dealings in respect of the loans have been with Ara Missaghi, who the applicants assert has a history of alleged fraudulent dealings, including large real estate-related frauds, mortgage fraud and securities law violations. In 2015, he was charged in a $7.5MM real estate fraud case in Northern Ontario. The applicants also assert that Wilson is an alleged real estate fraudster; as such, his and Missaghi's financial troubles will make refinancing the loans nearly impossible. Rosen Goldberg was appointed receiver of the properties. Dickinson Wright is counsel to the applicants.
