Position Opening: Licensed Insolvency Trustee, Consumer Practice
Location: Sydney, Nova Scotia
Rita Anderson & Associated Inc. (RA) is seeking to expand its operations with their growing firm to welcome an additional Licensed Insolvency Trustee (LIT) to work out of our Sydney, Nova Scotia office.
RA has been and continues to be a major consumer insolvency firm in the Cape Breton, Nova Scotia area. RA’s success is based on a personalized approach with debtors in gaining a strong understanding of debtors and finding realistic solutions to their financial circumstances. Through strong management and experience, RA has weathered COVID times very well.
Our Team is growing, and we need the help of an additional LIT to grow throughout Atlantic Canada.

Gain the experience and mentorship from our Team on how to run a successful insolvency Firm. Our office is a group of 8 and growing. We have a strong management team in place and experienced insolvency administrators. We operate using the latest technology as one of our tools to being successful, efficient and fully compliant.

LIT Main Qualifications:
Achieved the CIRP and LIT designations
Licensed with the OSB in all Atlantic Provinces (or willing to do)
Positive attitude toward change and agility towards technical advancements
Live in the Sydney, Nova Scotia area (or willing to move)
LIT Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the management of growing the practice throughout Atlantic Canada
Meet with debtors in Atlantic Canada, providing a personalized financial recovery plan
Work with a Team on insolvency administrative matters as required
