T.J.E.E. – The Jewish Educational Experience, a not-for-profit independent Jewish centre educating young adults through various programming initiatives, made an assignment in bankruptcy on December 7, listing approximately $78,000 in liabilities, including $60,000 to RBC. During the COVID-19 pandemic, TJEE experienced difficulty organizing programs, which severely compromised its ability to raise funds. By the end of April 2022, all remaining employees of TJEE had been terminated and the organization had ceased operations. Deloitte is the bankruptcy trustee.
